Zoe Sites A Celebrity!!

A lot to catch up on in the past 24 hours!  :)  Yesterday, Stacey and I purchased our first vehicle!  We got a Toyota Highlander, and it's sick!  We both love it, and love the fact that it's super safe and super reliable!  We're very excited and blessed and our family is just gettin' better every day!

It was fun to buy a car with Stacey.  She's so good with money, and bills, and payments ... blah, all the stuff I loathe!  So after many months of looking at cars, discussing our options and staring at different cars, we signed the papers and walked away with a set of keys to our awesome black leather seated beast of an SUV.  :)

We decided to have a little picnic in the park today, (I think it was so I'd have to come pick Stacey up in the new ride) but none-the-less it was fun!  :)  We put a blanket down, played with Zoe-Toes and ate some veggies and sammiches.  Gotta love getting outside in the warm sunshine.  It's 70 degrees right now!  Beautiful in Southern California.  I love this photo of Stacey and Zoe too, so retro and old school.

While we were at the park, we had a celebrity siting.  Drew Seeley, the infamous, was out running!  :)  It was funny to run into him ... no pun intended ... haha.  Great guy.  Great friend.  Boom.  That's all.

We Miss Mommy!

The hardest part of Stacey going back to work ... is Stacey going back to work.  We're a team.  When one couldn't handle another dirty diaper, the other would change it.  When the other was just too tired to feed ZB, the other would make the bottle and pop it in our little girl's mouth.  If we wanted a second alone, we could.  But from 7:45 - 5:15 every day it's just me and Zoe.  Not that I'm complaining - having this much alone time with our baby girl is amazing.  But it's tiring!  And we miss our mom. 

Stacey is such a positive light in this world.  She's always questioning everything, trying to figure out the best way to be a better person.  She is an amazing mom who's heart is full of love for Zoe, me and her friends and family.  If you're lucky enough to get to know her, you should hang on for dear life because you're in for an exciting ride.  Having her around got me spoiled, and now that she's not here during the day it's really quiet and boring. 

So Zoe and I will hang out again all day today.  We're anxiously awaiting 4:00 pm, because on Friday's mom get's off work early!  We're still going to have fun though.  Maybe we'll go to the park today, or take a walk.  Our good friend Amy Paffrath will be heading over to work on her website a little bit today and yesterday Drew Seeley and I worked on his website.  I'm still able to get a little work done, but as Mrs. Blackwell reminds me often, my #1 job is Dad.
